Carol Ann Larson
Carol Larson, colorectal cancer survivor, (Stage III) has written three books: When the Trip Changes, Positive Options for Colorectal Cancer, and Life Lines-Keeping Your Head above Water. Last year, Carol received a national "Breaking Boundaries Award" from the Colorectal Cancer Coalition (C3), and continues to work for the"GetYourRearInGear" 5k walk/run, raising awareness for adequate screening for colorectal cancer.
She is a retired school teacher from St.Louis, Park, MN. Married to David Larson and live in Minnetonka, MN. They have three married daughters and seven grandchildren. She has also been an active member of the UOAA and "GetYourRearinGear" (fight colorectal cancer.org) as well as a past president of our ostomy chapter, OAMA (Ostomy Association of the Minneapolis Area). She is currently the newsletter editor for the Ostomy Association of the Minneapolis Area (OAMA.)
