Ellen Pober Rittberg

Ellen Pober Rittberg is an award-winning journalist, a feature writer specializing in parenting children of all ages and also grandparenting whose humorous essays and features about families and social trends have appeared in The New York Times, Newsday, New York Daily News and other large urban daily newspapers and magazines. Some of her articles have been syndicated nationally.

The winner of the FOLIO award-Best Public Affairs Show for “The Changing Family,” a live cable television show she hosted and produced, she is an attorney who represented children in court for over thirteen years.

Her favorite song is “I Will Survive,” having had three children in three years and having survived multiple teens under her roof continuously for more than ten years. Ellen is the mother of three young adult children and the grandmother of a toddler.
