Why should you read The Whole Body Approach to Allergy and Sinus Health?

The director of the Center for Disease Control, Tom Frieden MD, has long predicted the growth of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, and 2016 has seen this come true. Last year in the US, two million patients contracted antibiotic-resistant infections; of these, 23,000 died from their infections.

Additionally, certain bacteria—for example, E. coli, a type of bacteria that cause urinary tract infections—are now resistant to every antibiotic known to science. These bacteria have genes that make them impervious to antibiotic treatment. What happens when those genes jump to other bacteria – the ones we are currently able to treat with antibiotics?

My book deals with alternatives to antibiotics for two of the most common ailments: allergies and sinus problems. By following my simple, non-drug therapies, my hope is that you never have to take an antibiotic for these issues again.

Here’s a sneak peek of the non-antibiotic treatments you’ll find in The Whole Body Approach to Allergy and Sinus Health:

Humming to combat a sinus infection

Most sinus infections are due to poor movement of the nasal cilia that are designed to move bacteria and dust out of the nose and sinuses.

Smiling to prevent a cold

Humor increases your natural immunity. Learn about Norman Cousins’ story: a dying California man who was defying all medical efforts to save him, until his friends showed him comedies, and his condition miraculously improved.  When you understand why humor is beneficial to your health, you can use it effectively.

Engaging your mind to enhance your medication

For most medical conditions, you need to engage the whole body—especially your mind—in order to heal optimally. In the Medication Enhancement chapter of the book, you learn to understand what your prescribed medication actually does for you and then visualize it actually working. This engages your mind in the healing process, which will promote faster and better healing.

There is no doubt that improving the immune system helps the healing process. This book teaches you how to improve your immune system with stress reduction techniques, humor, visualization, and by engaging your whole body in the healing process.
