Between Fathers and Daughters Author's Research Inspires “Strong is Beautiful” Campaign

February 5, 2015 (Nashville, TN) - Between Fathers and Daughters author Linda Nielsen's decades of father-daughter research will inspire thousands of people in a newly-released ad and video series- “Dad Do”. The series is sponsored by Pantene Pro-V, the world's leading hair care brand, as part of their “Strong is Beautiful” campaign.

The ad campaign will feature NFL dads styling their daughters hair in a series of online videos dubbed “Dad-Dos.” According to a Pantene Pro-V press release, the campaign goal is “to help give dads the tools to spend more quality time with their daughters – an act that helps foster confidence and strength in young girls.”

The “Dad Do” series was inspired by Linda Nielsen's scholarship on father-daughter relationships, which is prominently featured in her critically-acclaimed title Between Fathers and Daughters (Cumberland House Publishing, 9781581826616). Between Fathers and Daughters is a no-nonsense, entertaining, and insightful book for dads and daughters who want more from their relationship, and who are looking for a relaxed, more meaningful, more communicative relationship, regardless of age.
