Carrie T. Gruman-Trinkner

Carrie T. Gruman-Trinkner is the author of hundreds of articles, stories, and books. Most of her work centers around family, children, education and helping others. As a veteran teacher and the single mother of five children, including a cleft-affected boy, she is in tune with the unique needs of those who suffer pain and/or stress. During more than 17 years as an educator, Carrie has gained keen insight into human emotions and relationships. Her work as a writer strives to strengthen those relationships. She lives with her children (Kaitlynne; Aaron; Alex; Kelsey; and Aiden), several pets and the many students and former students who constantly pop in. Carrie is a recent nominee for the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award and The Golden Apple Award for outstanding work in the field of education. She received Rookie Teacher of the Year Award in 1987. She has just received her third nomination for the Herb Kohl teacher Fellowship Award.
