
Gay Block
Gay Block, a portrait photographer since 1975, shows her work widely in the United States and Canada. A recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, she has exhibited her work at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, as well as many other locations. Her exhibit of the Rescuers photographs has traveled to more than seventy venues and was the basis for a Showtime television series. She lives in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
