A New York City based designer, photographer, artist and author of the book NO PLACE LIKE HOME, Stephen believes that "good home design has the power to change lives."
The designer is known for his home makeovers working with the regular family homeowner as well as celebrity clients - to help them all make their homes be the best they can be.
Stephen’s design work and expertise has been featured in magazines such as House Beautiful, Elle Decor, This Old House, Bedford Magazine, In Style, Connecticut Cottages and Gardens and in newspapers such as The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune to name a few.
Stephen has been a Contributing Home Editor with a monthly column of his own for Better Homes and Gardens and Family Circle magazines. He was part of the founding team for the magazine Cottage Living where he also had a monthly column called “At Home with Stephen Saint-Onge.”
On television he has been a featured guest on Today, The Early Show, The View, Oprah, Rosie, as well as CNN and BBC/Discovery Networks.
Stephen works with private clients from the simple creative consult approach in the home - to re-inspire homeowners about their environments again to working on larger renovation projects from the early stages of development and design through each phase of construction to the final stages of project's completion. Stephen is all about designing projects that will set the stage for his clients to live out their best lives in.
His private client projects take him all over the country - with a special focus in on New York City, Connecticut, Westchester, The Hamptons, New York’s Hudson Valley and projects expanding out to Los Angeles and Miami.
