Over 176 million women worldwide face impaired fertility and debilitating pain due to the dreaded, but common gynecological disease, Endometriosis. Most are misdiagnosed and receive improper treatment that actually worsens their condition.
Increasingly, a growing number of women have found relief and healing through Dr. Tamer Seckin, who is ranked among America’s Top Surgeons & Gynecologists. He is one of a very limited number of accredited gynecologic surgeons in the United States who possess advanced training for the Deep Excision of Endometriosis and is THE expert on Endometriosis.
His upcoming book will be a thoughtful, comprehensive book about the moving and courageous experiences of his patients (who have included celebrity chef/author Padma Lakshmi) and his specialized treatment that helped thousands of them overcome this disease after past futile attempts had failed.
This book will not be a technical manual, but rather a concise guide for women who have the disease, seek treatment and improved health. The book will highlight the stories of women of all ages, some famous and some not, who have successfully been treated and the paths they took to regain their health and fertility. This book will increase the layperson’s understanding of this insidious illness and educates sufferers and their partners who seek the most definitive treatment.
